Patient Case
A older male presented to the emergency room a few days earlier with an inflamed thigh. The medical staff discovered necrotizing bacteria, which required debridement. After the debridement procedure, the patient was transferred to a specialty care clinic for rehabilitation. However, a clot formed from the debridement later dislodged, causing excessive bleeding. The patient was then taken back to the emergency room, where his wound was rebandaged.
