This study aims at Numerous patients with urolithiasis are seen intensely in the crisis division for starting therapy. With an end goal to improve cost and nature of care, the expanding center has been put around moving administration of low keenness conditions from crisis divisions to outpatient settings. One hindrance to such activities is convenient admittance to outpatient administrations. We set up a phone stone line to give admittance to outpatient urological care of kidney stones and we report our underlying experience.
A 24-hour devoted phone stone line was made with calls replied by committed staff. A PC program was made to follow stone line calls and post-call care. We reflectively dissected all stone line calls in a 4-year time frame with attention on usage and cost. An email study was performed to evaluate persistent fulfillment. Between January 2009 and July 2013 the mean call volume was 2,107 every year. A huge circulation of calls was seen across the entire days and hours. Span was under 15 minutes in 7,761 calls (82%). Patients or relatives set 77% of calls and doctors set 16%. Because of a stone line call, 4,173 patients (76%) were seen by a urologist inside 48 hours.
