The purpose of this article was to assess the current usage of semirigid penile prosthesis (SRPP), surgical methods for SRPP insertion, and how to avoid and manage surgical problems. SRPP is a viable alternative for people who have failed medical treatment for erectile dysfunction (ED), and it is even more suited for certain patient demographics.
It is critical for urologists to understand which patient populations benefit from SRPP. Several studies have found that patients who received SRPP had favourable results and were satisfied with the procedure.
