Catheterization, channel TURP, pelvic radiation, urethroplasty, anticoagulation, cardiovascular illness, diabetes mellitus, frailty index, hypertension, low albumin, and low testosterone are all known risk factors for AUS complications. Researchers show the method for detecting and treating AUS problems.
Despite being the gold standard of therapy for men with SUI, severe and mild problems can arise following AUS implantation at any time. Complications can be avoided by carefully considering each patient’s urologic, medicinal, and surgical risk factors. A systematic approach to early and late problems aids in their detection and management. In order to improve the quality of life in men with troublesome SUI, the assessing urologist must have a full awareness of potential AUS consequences.
