The aim of this study is To examine the preoperative factors related to the postoperative glomerular filtration rate (GFR) results after nephrectomy for favorable and dangerous conditions, estimated by the reference isotopic method 51Cr-ethylene diamine tetra-acidic (51Cr-EDTA) and to make a model to anticipate the momentary postoperative GFR. Optional point was to assess which of the regular conditions for GFR assessment (Cockcroft-Gault, Modification of Diet in Renal Disease [MDRD] or Chronic Kidney Disease Epidemiology Collaboration [CKD-EPI]) has the best relationship with the 51Cr-EDTA.
Patients going through one-sided nephrectomy from 2014 to 2018 were chosen. Pre-and postoperative factors were tentatively gathered. Univariate and multivariate investigations were done to distinguish autonomous danger factors related with renal capacity results and to make a model to foresee the postoperative GFR. Relationship examinations were performed to assess the presentation of different serum creatinine-based conditions for GFR assessment contrasted and 51Cr-EDTA.
